In vitero inspire, there are a number of shortcuts that make working with the various functions easier and faster. You can also save the shortcuts on a controller. It also boosts the accessibility if users can do without the mouse.
There are two types of keyboard shortcuts in vitero inspire:
- editable shortcuts
- non-editable shortcuts
Look up and edit shortcuts
Open the Operating Help menu in the vitero room:
> My settings > Operating Help
is the symbol for the Operating Help menu.
Click on the button .
You may look up keyboard shortcuts here and/or define your own keyboard shortcuts.

User
You can activate and deactivate these functions with the following shortcuts.

Use the F 3 key in versions lower than vitero inspire 4.3.

The shortcuts for webcams refer to the entries in the Video menu – in alphanumeric order.
When you switch off your live image, the avatar image for your webcam tile will be automatically shown, and vice versa.
Moderation

For participants, the shortcuts in the Drawing menu only affect their own drawings and markers, whereas for moderators they affect all drawings and markers.

The key combinations listed may already be used by another application on your system. In this case, the key combination may not have the effect described here. In such cases, it is advisable to redefine the key combination.
Store shortcuts
The edited shortcuts are stored in the cache of the browser you are using. They will be available until you clear the cache or change the browser.
To permanently store customized key combinations please use the vitero application file.
Delete or reset shortcuts
Open the Operating Help menu in the vitero room.
> My settings > Operating Help
Click on the button .
Delete the key combination by clicking on the waste paper bin behind the shortcut.
By clicking on , you will restore the predefined shortcuts.
